Tessa was adopted by Megan and James Byrd on 7/2/10. Megan wrote:
"This is Megan, we are the couple that adopted Tessa back in July. I just wanted to give you a little update and
send you some pictures of her recently. We ended up naming her Josey, Josey Wales to be exact. I liked the name Josey and
James mentioned that one of his favorite Clint Eastwood movies is The Outlaw Josey Wales, so we thought it would be fitting
to call her Josey Wales.
Josey is around 13 weeks I guess and the vet says she is doing great, she is between 9 and 10 lbs and is by far the fastest
puppy James or I have ever seen. She can out run us both easily in a straight sprint. Since she has so much energy we
take her up to the fields and run with her most nights and she also was a pro at fetch shortly after we got her. She has
adjusted well to her new home, she loves her crate so much that she will put herself to bed when she gets too sleepy at
night. She has learned 3 tricks - sit, shake and lay down and we are working on a few more.
I have attached a couple pictures of her recently. I hope you are doing well and thanks again for choosing us for Josey
(Tessa's) new home. We love her to pieces already!!"
